In 1977, while the movie “Close encounters of the third kind” was in the cinemas for the first time, a golden record with a message from humanity to the universe engraved on it was starting its interstellar journey on board of the Voyager space probe. These two occurrences highlight the deep desire of the human kind to create a connection to “whatever is out there”, and the deep connection between fiction and reality.
“ETRA” is a platform where you are going to be able to experience the possibility of a conversation with the universe through a keyboard. Distancing ourselves from an anthropocentric verbal-based type of communication, we developed a sound waves based codified language.
