uh513 is formed by artists and technologists María Castellanos and Alberto Valverde, with extensive experience in systems design, creation of interactive environments, multimedia and robotics. Outside our borders, their work has been featured internationally, including international awards and grants such as VERTIGO STARTS, an initiative led by Centre Pompidou and IRCAM Paris and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in Germany. For Biotopías 2 they present “Prosthetic Garden”, a series of robotic objects specifically designed for Parque Doramas. Incorporated into the plants to measure the electric oscillations in the organisms, they will show the biochemical reactions to human presence, the presence of other living creatures and the surrounding environment.

All the information collected by the sensors will be processed and translated into movements and sounds, that will allow the public to be aware of the plants through the different aesthetic elements, building a complex system, an interspecies that encourages communication between humans and plants, thus reaching a better understanding of the language of plants and, therefore, of nature, impossible to attain without the help of robotic systems. At SaladeArteSocial.COM the point of view of the plants can be experienced through an interactive video recorded in 3D.
